Mickey Mouse strikes again
« on: June 26, 2007, 01:38:53 pm »
One day after sacrificing my one mirror to the Sand Monster, I break the other one off by reversing badly out of the garage  :munky2:

2 x R171 for mirror bolts = R342 (school fees)

It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. Suck it up. -- Scary Gary MC

whaaaahahahaha.. that pic is hilarious....

Carefull when installing the new bolts, the casting they screw into is soft as putty..

(if you have done so successfully well done.. :-[ :-[)

Pratley steel works wonders to keep the stripped mirror screw in.. and to fix radiators.. ;D ;D

Cool pic !

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Does it work well (do you actually stick those 4 little thread thingies back on with the Pratley )

You lucky guy, KTM mirrors are cheap! BMW 650GS Mirror is over R400 then you still have to buy the bolt

Yes. That's why I suppose they make that bolt thingie so easy to break - to avoid damage to the stem or mirror itself. You know what, maybe we should create a Wild Dog Dakar Mirror Bolt cache: we buy in bulk from the factory (which is where???) and then we dish them out cheaply as required  :glasses2:

Hectic - ek dink ek ken hom.
Was in saam (1981-82) in Klein Boishaai
Toe loop ek hom raak in Bethlehem vir basics (Geniekorps)
En toe weer in die Bos - selfde koshuis gewees.
Was nooit dik tjommies nie maar het so paar gemeenskaplike vrinne gehad.

Wys jou - nie baie mense noem hulle kinders Siegfried nie.
