Assembly at Zone 7 Race Track, Corner N7 & the turn off at the West Coast Show Ranch / Van Schoorsdrift. GPS Coordinates: S 33 deg 45.555 min / E 18 deg 33.224 min.

The 1st Western Cape Amageza Qualifier was held on Saturday, the 24th of September 2011 – starting from the Morningstar Airfield. Enjoying over 30 degree Celsius heat, the 200km route took participants through both ‘liaison’ and ‘special’ legs – including over 12kms of dunes. Only 9 out of the 28 participants qualified – making the cut-off time of 5 hours.
A further 4 participants qualified at the 1st Gauteng Amageza Qualifier on 22nd of October 2011.
This Saturday the 5th November 2011, we are expecting in excess of 40 determined participants – including more South African participants training for the upcoming Dakar Rally, with their beautiful full-spec rally bikes.
