I need to buy a bike to commute with, my 990 is taking a hammering with all the commuting, especially the tyres. I have looked at and heard that the GS 650 is good, best on fuel and maintenance. What are the options.
Here are some I have looked at, keeping in mind my budget is R 40 000 and below, 2nd hand is the plan.
> BMW GS 650
> Suzuki Burgman 400
> Suzuki bandit 1200/ 600
> BMW GS 1200/ 1150
I have to do around 120 km's per day, so I am looking at comfort and fuel economy.
