Haven't got a clue either.

When you see one of these old wrecks, doesn't it make you wonder what the stories each one could tell, from new to abandoned

I'm sure that if this "wrecks" could tell the story,... I'm sure we'd all be truly riverted to our seets for a loooong time. ;)

I always think of all the work and craftmanship that went into the original and now it lies rusting its life away somewhere tussen erens and nerens

Very true,...there sure was a lot more "personal & hans-on" attention to detail of those "Old Gals". ;)

What car is that Fester?  Looks like a '60s Chevy.  That rear windscreen never got wet

Saw this beauty outside a plot entrance in the Magaliesberg.

Far too rusted to ever save, but man she must have been awesome in her day.

After some googling I found out what it is.

Can anyone else hazard a guess?

Near Geyerspan, Lichtenburg.  Got no idea what car this is, anyone?

Ford Model A. The front fenders and the rear view mirror stalk on the front A-pillar makes me think this.

Just stumbled on this thread new. Wow!  :thumleft: keep them coming

OOOH!!!!!  LEM.....

Very close boet.

It's a 1949 hudson commodore sedan.

They came in straight six and V8 models.

Was miss Daisy's car in "driving miss Daisy"

Was apparently a brilliant car in its day.

I absolutely love the lines of this Hudson. Even a bit different for its time when it was new. Like today you get the Merc CLS range, Audi A7, or the Aston Martine Rapide or Porsche Panamera. Sort of four door coupe style.

I really love that it's nicely positioned on that "boxed in rock bed" :thumleft: Looks really cool the way you kept the "rusted" colour of the car & made everything else B&W :thumleft: :thumleft:
