Round trip to Monkey Bay

Here is my idea for a 2 week trip, any suggestions, accomodation, pubs, etc, etc?????

just up from Monkey bay is Senga bay.. go to Cool Runnings, great place, you can still head south from there.

Not sure if you are doing the Donna Anna bridge, if you are not planning it you seem to be close to it down through Moz. maybe worth a look.

How do you plan on getting over the Limpopo river(what time of the year?).

Have you made plans to be transported through the Kruger Park?

We did not make any plans, just rode and looked for a place.
I see you want to go to Beira. Seriously don't go there unless you have to. It is a dump of note and the road in and out is shocking. Nothing to see but a couple of wasted hours ::)
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!

Fuel is still a real problem in Malawi, go in full with enough to get back out if you need to.  When you head out of Malawi no fuel till you get to Tete.  I hope to head back next year but may change route if they don't let their currency float so they can get fuel.  Let us know how it all goes.

If you drive into Monkey bay just keep going with the road past the port.

Mufasa Lodge, R72 pppn sharing, beautiful private beach.
