OK see this is how it works.  Riders tape $20 bucks to their handle bars.  A course is set with some of the meanest trails in the forest and each rider loses five dollars if they are assisted in any way.  If they DNF they lose $20 bucks. 

PS:  Best rider of the day was a aaaaaa  South African!
