I see that Roberts VII is now available for the Iphone (Android soon)
Looks very good..........., but a bit pricey. Worth it in the long term.

I bought the Sasol eBirds for yje iPhone - cost US$30 or so I think? Worth the price - has the bird calls as well as locations etc. Extremely worthwhile having.

Friends of mine, avid birdwatchers, went to see[and actually saw] the Black Skimmer today. Got to SA by mistake.

Here some pics taken last month, two Francolin in Kruger - stand to correction a Swanson and Natal frankie?
Then awesome viewing of Grey headed bush shrike and Purple crested loerie taken in Marloth Park and of course always enjoy the Horn Bills.  Saw lovely Ground Hornbills in Kruger. 

PS our owls left the owl house as the bees moved in, Gerald the BEE man removed the bees and per his instruction painted the owl house roof with Jayes fluid and we have an Owl back home.  Regret lost five owl eggs during the ordeal.
