I'm shooting birds with my D750 still, on the Tammy 150-600.
Just got a D4S, useful for sport... having a great time playing with that! 
Manged to get the attention of some very good sport photographers who are helping with set-up and tricks! 
Hopefully, I will improve my skills with their help.

Pic with the 750 and Tammy.

Where there and were a bit disappointed as we did not see a huge variety.  Non the less, here some of our sightings.

1.  Rooibek Fisant
2.  Gewone Tortelduif
3.  Rooireier
4.  Visarend   :biggrin:
5.  Same
6.  Afrikaanse Oopbekooievaar  (Howzat..... :biggrin:)
7.  Senagalvleiloerie
8.  I think Rooibeksysie?

Still some cool sightings.

The heron is a Goliath (Reusereier).

Went to Marievale on Saturday, it was cold and very cloudy...
The Caspian Tern was there, much to my excitement, but could not get a great pic of it catching and loosing fish as there was just no light...
was so sad to have not got a good one of this...
