I had the cat removed from my bike this week, and at the same time had the fuel mapping sorted with a Dyno tune. I remember guys here asking about the difference to the bike before and after, so I thought I would show you the differenc it has made to mine.

My bike is an early 2009 model with 25700km on the clock, and has been fitted with an Akro pipe and a UNI (USA) foam air filter.

Power is up almost 5HP, and the torque is up almost 4Nm.

I had the oil changed and new tyres fitted at the same time so the bike feels quite different now to when it went in, but I can certainly say that it feels more livley and the accelleration has improved. The main reason for having it done was for future trips into Africa and not having to worry about the grade and metal content of the fuel, but the added hp and Nm is a nice bonus.
