I've posted a wanted add in the for sale section and I'm looking for a DS type with my budget only about R25 cash. (realistically only R22k for now but can increase at a squeeze, reluctantly.)
Anyway, I am wondering if there are any Dr650's for sale in the region of R22k.
Also, I will be looking at a '98 model sometime this week. Can you give me a few tips to look out for please? My biggest concern is reliability so engine/drivetrain needs to be in good nick (will service if I buy anyway) I guess. Seat & tank damage can be fixed/replaced so not too worried. Steering head bearings: How to check on these bikes? Anything to check on the swingarm (and how please?)
