Chris went down on the ride with Die Burger this weekend, anyone got some info regarding his condition?

Someone on a BM went down on the road to Robertson and apparently broke his leg, don't know if this was him.

Couple of okes also went down on the road from Bot River to Villiersdorp, apparently just minor spills.

There was something in die burger today, some broken stuff they say.

Saw it briefly under the moto avontuur section.

I saw Gooi Mielies down on the start of the Van der Stel Pass outside Botriver - he was shaken, bedonnerd and full of yellow clay......but was back on the bike. Whether he went down again later, I don't know.

I did not see what happened, as it were extremely dusty.

But the next moment he were gone!

He dropped his 1200GS in a very sharp bend. Leg , collarbone, ribs broken and punctured lung!!! (he were more concerned about his wife being the moer in for him)

We retrieved his bike (+- 5 meter drop), and got it back to the road. It really did not look good!!

Sterkte ou maat! ek hoop nie jou vrou was te kwaad vir jou nie!!!!

I have photos but out of respect I will give it to Chris for posting when he is better. $:-\$

I spoke to Chriss wife last night, he will be alright, the long road to recovery begins, I guess there is many a dog who has had to.

I also spoke to his wife now. He's in hospital in Worcester and will probably remain there for about 10 days. Maybe someone out that way can go and visit him?
