Tradouw Pass (Suurbraak ?? Barrydale) R324 WC Tar

One of the principal passes through the Langeberg range was named by the KhoiKhoi people. It has numerous waterfalls during winter and splendid flowers during spring. The pass follows the precipitous sides of the Tradouws river.
A new road through the pass was built in 1873 by Thomas Bain, using convict labour.
