This past weekend we were invited on Sunday to attend the yearend function of the Johannesburg Light Airplane Club situated at the Baragwanath Airfield. So on the N1 we jumped and off on the N12 towards Lenasia we went, just after the Sasol Garage there is a robot were we turned left and had a nice piece of tar for about..................200m, en then gravel. Now a RT comes standard with normal road tyres mine has on Streetpilot, now these are not know for their offroad capabilities. So we had approx 2-3 km of dirt road lying ahead, must say a few times i could feel the bike sliding in the sandy patches, but we made it!

So as we were pulling in (now i am not a Harley fan), we saw parked under a tree, a old Police Harley, the owner said it was a 1942, which was totally original.

We had a great day out at the airfield, some old planes and new planes taking to the skies to entertain us, here are some pics of our day out!
