Fitting the chain is not a problem... I only need a chain. I will sorrt out the whole chain and sprocket thing later....we just don't have tools to cut a link if the chain is not spesific to my Plaasmeisie....I am not m€€eeting carrots and firecoast in G R....am crruising the dirt in the area of colesburg for the next two days...

Laurika, you really need a bike with a driveshaft...

...something like an Airhead BMW.  :mwink:

Glad you're OK and that the Dogs are out to help you.  :thumleft:

Thanks to alll the chaps!!! My spelling is perfect... I have a keyboard that is faulty..Long after I lift my finger it still repeats some letters... Real pain...

;upiter will confirm that he can get a o ring chain and bring it to the bash.... And the tools to fit it. Failing that, Zina is standing by with a chain to bring it to trompsburg - where I shall fetch it.

Thank you Advventurer and Michnus for all the effort also. You guys rock!

Hi Laurika.  Sorry to hear of the technical cahllenge.   I  know how it feels.  Seem more dogs to the South than to the East of Gauteng/   Last Thursday on my way to Dullstroom and then the Lowveld, chain's masterlink went on awol 23  km's form Middelburg in Mpumalanga.  Phoned one of the Wd's in Gauteng but they didn't know of someone in that area.

Hope you get fully sorted.

Thanks for all the help guys. Please ensure the chain sourced is the correct size, with master link...and maybe a spare master link...
At least Laurika has a tow rope....and knows how to be towed....just make sure you are on the LEFT of the towing bike, I just hope it doesn't come to that.... 8)
