Laurika, careful with Jupiter, having seen his garage, I dont believe he could fix anything that is chain driven.  >:D

Good luck, looks like its all coming together thanks to great people on a great forum.

Laurika, dont you just need to adjust the chain tension?

the chain has been tightened twice in four days. It helps but then just stretches a bit more. The rollers are wearing out fast inside the links.....must have been a cheapo chain.....

It's all those wheelies you pull, girl...  :mwink:

Glad you're being helped.  :thumleft:
Jupiter can adjust chains - as long as they look like the timing chain in the Airheads.   ;D

Jupiter, that GS is going to have a couple extra horses with a drivechain on board. Ride safe and great for helping.

I wonder where that chain was made, clearly can't handle Yamaha power..... :peepwall:

Ummmmm I could take huge flak for this, but Laurika I am impressed that you saw and recognized the problem, AND REALIZED ITS AN ISSUE, there are a fair number of Dogs out there who would not have realised they had an issue until it failed completely  :thumleft: 8)
