Tittiesbaai – rated in the Top 10 camping spots! {GO Magazine}NO! There is no grass, the campsites are poorly marked. The Ablutions are over utilized when camp site is full. The wind blows and when it does not, it frigging hot! No trees/shade. The sea water is ice cold.
Yes it is close to the sea , but then there are lots of other sites also close. I think the panel that done the final selection were all from the Western Cape. Pick any 10 campsite in the Drakensberg and they would be better than this. And yes you have to put up with the bad behavior of your neighbor camper as experienced by the “writer” of the opening letter, in Jan12 issue.
Yes I go there often; no I would never rate it in the Top 10. For two to three days, ok. Anything longer is “HELL”
