What a bike! A Top Bike!

I just got the latest copy of Top Bike magazine. Page 100 (of course) has an incredible bike that did an incredible trip. 1011km in one day beating the distance of Digital Dan's big ride by some way (for now).  ;D

Oh, and the article was written by a forum member... Well done.

No man, the other forum member. Luckystriker - your's was amazing as well, but that's a given.  :thumleft:

If I'm not mistaken the trip done by the three MX / Enduro bikes was also on this forum a while back?

The dog's are getting famous!

So I guess I'm off to the CNA before I go home today. Looking forward to reading the article and when I'm finished that I'll read the rest of the magazine too.

I just bought TopBike August, it's the best edition so far IMO.
The 'Reader' story with the farm bike is indeed quite interesting, it's a pity that the pictures taken did not really make me appreciate the the whole adventure by our american dirt rider. TopBike is usually the best mag in terms of picture quality.

The best story of that edition is the 3 day enduro, from Durban to Jo'burg.
For me, those okes did what I call a real adventure: very little planning, lots of fucks up.
Also very interesting to compare 3 methods of route planning. It shows that South African maps are not that great. And I agree 100%.

Try the airport LS, I was waiting for my daughter at JHB Int (fcuk O.R. whatever!) last night and got my copy there.
Excellent write up there LS, looks like that sand is a biaatch!!! ;D ;D

None to be found in my valley.  Only July copies.  The new BikeSA is however on the shelves.  Damm!  Just hope the shipment wasn't hickjacked enroute. :'( :'(

What bike ? I dare any seat to challenge my DRZ's :) Next time I'll do a 1200 km, no problem as long as the scenery is good. Must check out the mag, sounds like a good edition.

Their website is still July. Wish some marketing fundi will point out to the owners the value of a good site. Still no copies at my corner cafe.
