This started out as a one day trip. But when we got close to Dullstroom it was raining buckets with hectic thunderstorms and we decided that we will rather overnight in Dullstroom, this is just a few photos of the trip. Beautiful place that I will visit again.
The road to Dullstroom was very nice for higher speed traveling.
After the rain cought us about 20 km outside Dullstroom we had to ride slower because of visibility. We got a nice little room for cheap and settled in for the night.
After we got soaked we had to dry out our gear:
Our liquid refreshment for the cold night
The next morning we went for a short ride to the Verloren Valei, stunning place:
And a delicate little flower:
On our way back we went through Korfnek that started on the road between Tonteldoos and Dullstroom:
When we got to a little bridge the water was flowing heave due to the previous nights rain. We had to turn around and go through Tonteldoos and Learsdrift. We had a good ride home, I increased my max speed on dirt to 130km/h. this is the last photos we took. I will not take my SLR on thrips like this again but rather my little compact digital. All and all it was a moer nice trip and we are going to do it again soon.
