My first ever RR, so bare with me

So.. During Friday drinks Carrots and IDR decide 'kom ons gaan ry more'. At which point they both look at me and the missus. "Kom julle saam?"
"Sure, why not.... "
We met up at the BP on Atterbury at a bright and early 7:30 and made our way gingerly (Carrots leading) through town.eepwall:
We went out on Church Str and made a turn through Atteridgeville.. At first I thought Carrots wanted a pillion aswell, but as it turns out, he had a water crossing for us, by far my biggest one, with the water flowing at a reasonable pace and about a foot deep.
So; noob, 650GS, and pillion... how hard could it be..?ot:
