Monster goes "crazy"
« on: January 23, 2012, 05:47:25 pm »
Most companies spend their money on ad agencies, TV commercials, radio spots, and billboards to tell you how good their products are. At Monster we choose none of the above. Instead, we support the scene, our bands, our athletes and our fans. We back athletes so they can make a career out of their passion. We promote concert tours, so our favourite bands can visit your home town. We celebrate with our fans and riders by throwing parties and making the coolest events we can think of a reality.

At Monster we are all about the things you care about. We all dreamed about being pro athletes, musicians and living the life. We know it takes encouragement and support to make that dream a reality, so with this in mind we are insanely happy to partner with the 2012 Amageza Rally to bring you an event that’ll rock your soul.

Welcome to the:

Monster Energy 2012 Amageza Rally
27-29 April 2012 - Sutherland, South Africa
www.amageza.com

In short, at Monster all our guys walk the walk in action sports, punk rock music, partying, hangin’ with the girls, and living life on the edge. Monster is way more than an energy drink. Led by our athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...
A lifestyle in a can.

I need to lose a little weight, so I was advised to promote the "low-carb" option!

So tell me, I have received an email on Friday proclaiming Monster to be the devil's drink.

They say the 3 'stripes' making up the M is in fact 3 different arabic letters (or one of the biblical languages anyway), representing the letter 6. So M is actually 666 and somewhere on the can or ad it also say 'unleash the beast'.

Is this true?
Are you conspiring with the devil?
Or is the NG kerk at it again?

It is for above reason that RedBull is becoming so pedantic over the use of their brandname/colours. I cannot see the reason for the hype over either. Coke for this oke.

A lot of controversy over the logo, in Hebrew it is read as 666.... >:D

or is it just some people's imagination running away with them

unleash the monster.....I thought that was already done in 1994 with the launch of the KTM 950....... :mwink:

For 5 cents...

'N' looks more like the logo...

people will suck anything out their thumbs to get attention...

Of course you need a baby to draw it, 'cos no person writing that would have such a shaky down-slash...

They call me Judy or Judes...

You need chaos in your soul to birth a shining star!

Agreed Mailbu - although me thinks that they sucked it out of their bums and not thumbs, as the notion of the 666 thing must have been thought out while on the toilet.
Definatelly looks more like an "N" anyway duh!!!!

Hats of to "MONSTER" & "RED BULL" for that matter - they get my vote eternally for what they have done for athletes around the world.
Mine - BMW 1200 ADV, KTM 450 RR; HUSABERG TE 300; Goes 320 Quad
Missus - BMW 650 GS.

As usual it's bollock boet.  People will read anything into anything for attention!  I remember when Bill Gates was said to be the devil and his name signified all kinds of stuff.
I remember only a short while ago when some twatwaffle idiot dominee in Cape Town wanted "Devil's Peak" renamed as it signified devil worship.....

Ignore these people that need to get a life......

The Monster logo is cool, innovative and does what any good well thought out logo does.......... attract attention and becomes a known image that everyone associates with the product without having hundreds of words to explain and describe itself!

 :thumleft: :thumleft:

(oh and Pete - sorry boep boet they need vris boytjies   :peepwall:)
