Thanks to MONSTER for all the sponsorship. I think it's awesome all the promo work *and the girls :) :) )

My son is MONSTER befok. Got given a sticker kit for his birthday. We now have one seriously MONSTER pimped KX in the garage!!! :)

So tell me, I have received an email on Friday proclaiming Monster to be the devil's drink.

They say the 3 'stripes' making up the M is in fact 3 different arabic letters (or one of the biblical languages anyway), representing the letter 6. So M is actually 666 and somewhere on the can or ad it also say 'unleash the beast'.

Is this true?
Are you conspiring with the devil?
Or is the NG kerk at it again?

As ek so baie kak gepraat het soos die NG kerk sou ek ook bang gewees het vir die duiwel.
Take my advice; I don't use it anyway.

Most companies spend their money on ad agencies, TV commercials, radio spots, and billboards to tell you how good their products are. At Monster we choose none of the above. Instead, we support the scene, our bands, our athletes and our fans. We back athletes so they can make a career out of their passion. We promote concert tours, so our favourite bands can visit your home town. We celebrate with our fans and riders by throwing parties and making the coolest events we can think of a reality.

At Monster we are all about the things you care about. We all dreamed about being pro athletes, musicians and living the life. We know it takes encouragement and support to make that dream a reality, so with this in mind we are insanely happy to partner with the 2012 Amageza Rally to bring you an event that’ll rock your soul.

Welcome to the:

In short, at Monster all our guys walk the walk in action sports, punk rock music, partying, hangin’ with the girls, and living life on the edge. Monster is way more than an energy drink. Led by our athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...

That is great. Good luck to the Amageza team.

Most tools in the vaal/east rand used to have a No Fear sticker, followed by a Fox, or Bad boy sticker, all these have been replaced by the Monster sticker.

most of these tools have never been on a bike, (except maybe a soopabike or a katana)

Anyone had the coffee Monster? If not, can I claim that as a nickname?

Fuzzy - in all seriousness..... MONSTER is a great brand - great for the sponsorship.... so why not ask them to donate a box full of sticker sets to the WD's .... after all you'll be promoting and advertising THEIR brand and products.... why should you pay for that privilige when they can claim 100% back in tax as a marketing budget...  :deal:

Ek dink net nie die Monster sponsership het uit die lug geval nie. Dis harde werk om deesdae goeie sponser te kry. Geluk kameelkop en team, dit gaan ons deelnemers se deelname net soveel meer aangenaam maak.

Am sure you all know, but I'll repeat...

The Monster Energy 2012 Amageza Rally will run from the 27th to the 29th April, in Sutherland
– 1x day of Time Trial & Srutineering, followed by 2x days of Rally Stages

On Friday the 27th, starting from 07h00 (time to be confirmed) there will be a Time Trial for all the registered participants who were unable to do one of the Qualifiers

The Time Trial will be relatively short, and provide the organises the ability to observe that each rider is competent riding a bike offroad (as per any of the Qualifiers)

There will be a time limit but this is flexible, within reason... I.e. Participants will not necessarily be ‘disqualifier’ due to an unnatural series of  punctures etc.

So just contact Marissa at admin@amageza.com to get the information on how to register and book your spot... The limited places are filling up rapidly - last I heard we already had 77 registered out of a possible 100 (only 23 places remaining).

Then make sure you’re in Sutherland in time to do the Time Trial on Friday. And then enjoy this real authentic rally experience.
