sheeese guys! We are doing this trip through africa, and we are going to film it.We want to show that the 990/950 gals out there can do what the boys do, maby even better. We are all married men and very happy, this is about the bike and what it can do. The trip is not a walk in the park, and involves a lot of camping. We do not care what the gals relation is, she will be treated as one of the manne. We just want to show that adventure riding is for everyone, so we are just giving the gals a chance to be a part of it....at this moment we are 3, and thought we could give the gals the oppertunity to show what they can do...its just an invite..
Me and wife did Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, me on my 950S, she on her 990, no backup vehicles, just us two, +/- 10 000 KMs in 3 weeks, and we stayed over for 2 days at Sossusvlei, 2 at Vic Falls, 5 at Lake Malawi and 2 at South Luanga park. Mostly camping - believe me, the KTM girls can do it, and do it very well at that!
What are you saying? The BM, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc girls cannot do it?

no, maybe he means we should get husbands to travel with us before we can do it Also.?....

Never meant anything like that, the ride without backup she can do on her own, but she cant pick up her own 990 loaded with kit if it falls over, she needs me to do it, and we both fall over in sand often - so no sexism there - also we had about 8 punctures between the two of us on the duration of this trip - maybe the other biker girls can pull the tire off the rim and replace the tube etc., but my wife can't, and also not other little mechanical issues like removing the fuel pump from the tank and cleaning the teabag filter etc. so fortunately for me she still needs me to go along.
Picture of the lady in question.. and no we do not ride without helmets, we helped push a 4x4 out of the way that was stuck in the riverbed, and then battled through ourselves at walking speed.
