I have been told that Cebe camping area has been abandoned by whichever government dept. had control of it. It seems this took place around August of last year.
Reports i have received claim that the ablution rondawels and the care takers house have been completely vandalised. Trees are being cut down in the reserve.
The last time i was there we found that someone had been erecting small cement block cottages but there were none completed and those that had walls had trees and bushes growing in them. The caretaker told us that two contractors had got the tender to build but they had taken the money and run.
It is apparently unsafe for visitors now and it is a pity because the area has excellent fishing.
