Wot a beautiful day (Yzerfontein for a nice Sunday ride)
« on: August 06, 2007, 03:30:23 pm »
Couldn't pass up going for a ride yesterday. The Cape was bright, sunshiny - the light that clearness that only comes after much rain. The grass was brighter than usual, and the canola yellow against the dark green wheat really something to behold.

So I thought - lets go see if there are any flowers out?

What started off as a ride 'out there' ended up being an awesome trip in an afternoon - I went to Yzerfontein, via Atlantis, Papkuilsfontein, Darling, then back via Darling, Moreesburg (wot a road! even passed another biker with pillion who seemed to be making heavy weather of sitting down thru some magnificent potholes!), Riebeek Wes, Malmesbury.

Alas the camera left at home (battery flat) so all I've got are Nokia N70 snaps.
Cheers!

Nice - quite impressed with Nokia pics thus far.
It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. Suck it up. -- Scary Gary MC

Nice one Inglsman.  No reason at all to apologise for the pics, I like!

I used my N73 here http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=8926.0
The images were "shrunk" for the web using MS Picture editor default resizing, but I am incredibly happy wth the N73 picture quality.
