This morning yet another diesel spill at the traffic circle (or is it a roundabout) on Otto du Plessis coming from Melkbosstrand towards Cape Town.
I have lost count of the number of times I have seen diesel spills here.
Because the spills are small, they never get cleaned up, and this is now building up just waiting for the first good rains to become a serious hazard.
The spills are made by Golden Arrow buses when they use the traffic circle (or is it a roundabout) to turn around.
Spills around the traffic circle (or is it a roundabout) go across both lanes as the buses enter and exit the traffic circle (or is it a roundabout).
I have phoned Golden Arrow about this (more than once) and the response so far has been to the tone of "prove it then we will take you seriously).
Does anyone know anyone in a senior position at Golden Arrow with whom this can be taken up?
Please add your support here as well.
