Fitting a fuel gauges to a 690.

Saw in one of the bike mags they have these 'universal " digital petrol gauages. Think it is possable to fit on to the 690??
TS 50- Gave away
RM 125- Not sure where it is.
IT 200- Sold.

Not sure it can be done, i searched the web no info on it.I suspect the tank wil need a 'floater' of some sort.

what you want a fuel gauge for, it tells you when you low on fuel, and how far you can still go! Do me a favour when you worked out that fuel code let me know, as i sure as hell cant work it out!!

As far as I can figure out, it's the number of km's since the light  came on!
So theoretically you should be able to go until around 40-50.

I put in 20 Liters at 16kml =320km. Thats my fuel gauge. But then again ,I am a pilot :-)

but then you would be calculating fuel used per hour...  :deal: what does a GS give, about 7-8ltr/h?  >:D

Ok I understand , I would say 30km is safe , any really tried to see how far they can go , a gauge would still be nice !!
