As we know the stock units are not very wide or grippy. They also do not look very strong. Well I have found that the footpegs from a KTM 525 or simular models are very close. You only need to grind of the crown part at the top OR bottom of the peg. I removed the bottom one. It then fits perfectly on the stock carrier and the pin is excactly the same. KTM pegs can be bought for around R300-00. Dirtwarp bought new ones which allowed me to test fit his old ones. Mounted pics to follow. I marked the bits that need to be removed. To modify the foot pegs took about 10 minutes per side.
