Spoken to Jan again.

Suzette has had an emergency opp early this morning to repair a torn vein that was causing heavy internal bleeding. Also found that her one kidney was badly damaged. They hope to be able to save the kidney.

She is currently under heavy sedation in ICU.

Please continue to pray with me for both Jan and Suzette in this difficult time.

Strongs to Suzette. Shes in our prayers

Im shit scared of Sir Lowries Pass...what with the wind and diesel and some of the arsehole drivers that use that pass. I had some drunken prick in a white bakkie try run me off the road there a while ago. Chased him all the way to Caledon (I was going to bliksem him something horrible) but sence pervailed and I gave up before one of us got killed.

Not nice to hear about incidents like this.

Ok , here is an update from Jan on how Suzette is doing :

"Good morning to al my friends and work colegues, scuse the spelling. thanks for use amount of interest and support, I can report back, Suzette is slowly being taken out of the coma, the good news is that she squeezed both my hands when I spoke to her, so she is not paralyzed on the right side as first diagnosed, right ankle is cracked, not broken and right knee cap ligaments are torn away and not a crushed knee cap, I will take those odds any day, Stomach is responding to being tube fed through nose, Back at work, but mind drifting a little bit, but Im very positive that she will recover quickly and fully."

Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I pray that Suzette will heal 100 %.
