Why do people feel the need (non bikers and bikers) to clean the dust off my dash and mirrors
with their fingers when I stop and chat with them? Happened last night(biker)

It drives me up the wall and have so for a long time.

I do not stick my hands through your window and wipe your dash clean with my fingers while we talk.
I do not spit and and polish my bike often but this gets to me.
Same as people putting their infants on my bike when I'm in a shop. Do not like it one bit.

OK is it only me or am I just vol k@k and haveing a bad Monday or both?!!!!!

I once stopped at a supermarket in Kleinond to get some cold water - having a more of a babelaas. Someone stopped next to me and asked for directions - while I took my helmet off and spoke to them, some retard put his ±3year old son on my bike and proceeded to twist the throttle (bike was off) and telling his laaitie "draai daai donkie se oor" I asked him politely to remove the kid and he started swearing at me, but took the kid off. I went to buy my water and got back out to discover that my bike was pushed over. Ek was nie lekker nie and still have sadistic daydreams of meeting that guy again...

Always used to have a sticker on my bike that said "do you believe in life after death? - touch this bike and find out" - never helped.

No, you are correct, it bullshit that people touch your property but I also fully understand your horror due to the 'courtesy dusting' thing. I hate it when people, usually kids, feel obliged to finger write on your dusty car. They have no idea the damage it can cause to paintwork, especially if its a dark colour.

But then I have been known to be anal about my cars and bikes, so maybe I shouldnt comment about this

Dit rev ook my moer-o-meter as mense rond tos met my bike.
Ek kom nou die dag uit 'n shop uit en hier staan 'n scrap langs my bike wie duidelik niks sus nie met sy vuil pote op die grips en wen die thottle op terwyl hy so vooroor leun asof hy moer vinnig op 'n crotch rocket split.
Die ergste is dat hy my space heeltemal ge-cramp het terwyl ek my stront in die top box try kry en my uittjek of ek sy kos gesteel het terwyl ek 'n skyf opsteek.
Maar hy't gou padgegee het tot ek daai Two Brothers laat blaf so na aan sy hol....

I am exactly the same, I want to Sh*T in my pants when I see that happen. First of all it scratches the paint, second don't touch anything. I am really anal about this myself.

Fully agree!! It pissess me off too!!

But OK, what really amuses me is that people do it with BMW's too, I mean, come on, there's usually nothing to wipe from a tar bike.......maybe goggas, but that shouldn't be on your dash or the inside of your mirrors?!? Or do the goggas maybe fly into you from behind?.....

Laat my dink aan die storie van die ou wat by die huis gekom het en sy 2 seuns ho opgewonde vertel het hulle het die bakkie vir hom gewas.
Hy was baie beindruk tot hy besef het hulle het dit met die kombuis potskuurders gewas.

My bike looks like a jumping castle when i stop at shebeen in rural area

I dont mind my bike has been dropped more than the ZIm dollar

Ek onthou nog vir Lionel (seker 5 jaar oud) wie se pa mooi gevra het of hy op die fiets kan dit.

Daar by die Wamkelikeli kumtla Kapa (of so iets) padbord waar mens die noordkaap ingaan.

Alles reg. Lionel klouter op en ek kyk mooi dat die fiets stewig staan.

Maar toe hy so lekker sit, toe moes mammie mos roep "Lionel - put on the Helmet!"

Ek het NET betyds gekeer want die mannetjie se kop was vol salf en oortrek met die omlope.

Sy pa het my gesig gesien en darem mooi gegroet toe hulle wegry...

Oh Monday Monday...

Cheeses me off as well. Once happened to me when I was out test driving a guys car. He put his laaitie on my bike and when he picked him up to take him off, his foot hooked the mirror and the bike moered over

I was not a happy camper when I got back, chrome pipe dinged and scratched

Needless to say, I never bought his car... twatwaffle

Bliksem ek haat dit. Ek het juis n neef wat alewig my helmut op sy dogter se kop het.

Kan hulle nie met hul flippen oë kyk nie.

Ek betas mos nie sy vrou elke keer as ons by mekaar kom nie, sal nogal graag wou, maar ek beteul myself.
