I got the Mitas E10 on my XC and it grips like hell on everything. Its the only tire I've ever put on my dual sport bikes that has not thrown knobs off. It only gave me 1200km though but they were km full of grip. The 690 has got more power than the XC so let us know how long it lasts on your bike.

I've just replaced my E-09 with an E-07 on the rear of my pig. The E-09 gave me 7000km of hassle-free riding (75% dirt). I'm expecting to do        10 000km on the E-07.

10k is a lot of km's and pretty good value. According to Runner the C02 is only good for about 3000km's but in comparison I think it is a lot more aggressive nobbly
GODSPEED!

I put the C02 on for the East Cape bash and am very impressed! Did about 100kms and still looking good, sure 3000 kms about right....but with decent traction at a good price I`m happy :thumleft:
Interesingly enough it even looks good after TJ`s SE chewed on it for the weekend!

This is a serious tyre. The first 300 km were scary the bike was all over the place to the point that you could not exceed 100 km/h and even then it was dangerous. It settled down nicely and eventually was stable even up to 170km/h for short distances (it is a 140 km/h rated tyre). Not many serious off road tyres stand up to the SE but this one seems to be holding up. I constantly thought I would throw knobs but nothing. I know its limitations will be on the tar but we ride very little tar. It is only a 1000km old now but if it holds to 3000 I will be very happy.
Ride it like you stole it!
