today i felt like hitting some dirt with the 950 - as usual :lol: .
i only got up at 10, so joining bla-bla etc. was out of the question (i set my alarm, but killed it in my sleep). i decided to do a round trip from randburg ut towards lanseria. my route led me through farmall, lanseria, cradle, muldersdrift, ruimsig and home.
i must have travelled at least 75% dirt. the dirt's there, you just have to look for it. near lanseria things got really technical going through the veld. i encountered marble-like stones, THICK sand, compacted clay, mild sand, gravel, and dongas & ruts. i rode around the area for a while and saw someone on a 990 adventure S going the opposite direction.
i am pleased to say i had NO confrontations or mishaps throughout my ride, yay
