howsit guys, thinking about looking into a 640 myself.  just wondering what a typical service costs you if you do it yourself?  and what do you typically replace?  back tyres every 5000km?

Normal service is under 2k if you do it at a shop so much less of course if you do it by yourself. Tyres depends on what you fit and how you ride. I've killed a Pirelli MT21 in 1500 km. The E07 I have now should give about 5000.

Ps. You shouldn't be asking questions. Just do it. They are super fun to ride

Just worried about the commute. I do 115km a day. 5000km on a rear is hectic! Got nearly. 20000 on my 80G/S when I sold it with lots of life left.

i used a few pirelly scorpions on my 6fott, best the front gave me was 38000km!! (drove like a old lady) worst was 2200km, beat rear was 12000km worst was 2100km..

service the thing yourself, many places to get advice, and import the parts ahead, save 100000's...
