We are a group of 4 riders (1150/1200's, etc) who plan to take a vertically-challenged mate - who is a proficient ex-Thumper rider, on a ride up to his holiday possie in the Cedaberg (95% tar, last 10 km easy gravel).
The four of us would like to share hiring costs and get him a 650GS rental for the weekend (Friday-Sunday).
(we bunk down for free, we hire his bike, and BRING HIM BACK TO BIKING :thumleft: :3some
Anyone know of more-affordable options?
I have seen 2 local rental companies charging R950 per day in low season, to R1150 in high season, for a 650 GS..., PER DAY! Their website's are geared to o/seas clients, with mixed german/English text.
Just keen to know if there are more affordable options out there, or maybe - seriously - we should hire a T-Dub or KLR or something similar.
