Guys,
Both on ADV Rider and BMW club's forums, there are links\threads to where a guys split open his old grips, and peeled them off the heated coils without damaging the coils, and then fitted new grips over the coils. I wanna do this, as the grips on my GSA are shot. When I took the Juggernaut into Atlantic on Tuesday, I queried this, and Johnny said no, they don't have, and wouldn't do it, as the heater elements would melt the replacement grips.. Whatever..
So I'm trying to find out who sells nice replacement grips with a big enough ID to be able to lube and then roll over the existing Heater elements on the BMW grips.. Also not too sure what the Diameter if the grips\heater elements are, so not sure about that either.. has anyone else doen this yet?
