GSA fuel capacity
« on: March 16, 2012, 07:42:10 pm »

Please explain how I can do that mod to my bike's filler.

Put a cloth into the filler neck to stop swarf dropping into the tank, undo the allen bolts holding the filler cap to the tank, lift out the neck about 40mm careful not to dislodge any pipes, drill a 3mm hole in the side of the neck it will allow the tank to vent higher, put it all back again its quite easy.

BUT, if you fill it full, full, you must ride off again or it will expand in the sun and piss fuel out the overflow, mine is worst with a black tank

yip that easy.

I usually fill up before going to work ... nice 40km ride and then a parking bay in the shade ....

I can imagine that black bike attracts alot of sun
