I would say equal to Amageza in fun factor - but much harder work riding, in my experience.

My entry for Platinum is in.

Last year the two day race was 750kms and that got rather hard towards the end for me, I was quite a bit fitter and did a lot of cycling before the event. This year I did farkall and the race will be a 1000kms. So its gonna be interesting...

Probably. I'm gonna be so slow, there will be plenty of opportunity to take pictures!

Have decided that I am not gonna be involved as an official this year (have done so for the last 16 years), but will go up and be a spectator... camping along the route in the bush.

:thumleft: :thumleft: Keep an eye out for a white Katoom (C249). I'm still the only entrant in this class, so I might be able to stop for a quick chat because I don't have to worry about finishing last in class! :imaposer:

Will do, and you look out for a couple of Cruiser bakkies following a Hilux bakkie, probably with quite a bit of beer spilled around us. :laughing4:

Does anyone have the gps tracks or better still, google earth paths for the route? Maybe last years if not?
