This year we will be hosting the 7th Annual Wild Dog Bash in the Wartrail area of the Malutis, a stone's throw from Lesotho!

What about food and accommodation?
As usual we will organise the food, you just supply the money.
Choice of braai packs: (Choose two. One for Friday and one for Saturday)
- Steak (Scotch fillet, 2 x Sosaties)
- Chops (2 x Skaap tjops, piece of wors)
- Chicken (Quarter chicken, spare rib, 2 x sosaties)
NB! Vegetarians. Please indicate if you are vegetarian. We will bring down some Woolies cheese platters for you in place of braai packs. :thumleft:
Bykosse. Salads. Pap and sous or a roll.
Coffee/Tea and rusks for Saturday and Sunday morning
Breakfast. This is for your own account, please indicate if you would like to have breakfast on either Saturday or Sunday or both. R 50 per breakfast.
If vegetarian, also please indicate. Same with Kosher/Halaal requirements. We will try our best to accommodate or come to alternative arrangement with the particular member.
There will be paper plates and plastic utensils.
Accommodation is limited to camping however there are very limited on-site chalets as well as other accommodation in the area. We would prefer that everyone camp, but if you would prefer you could obviously do as you please. Please arrange any alternate accommodation yourself, and indicate as such here. This will obviously also be for your own account.
Camping is arranged by the bash organisers, and is included in the Bash price. Please don't arrange with the venue for camping directly.
How much will it cost?
R500 per person attending.
This includes camping, 2 braai packs, t-shirt, bash sticker, onsite logistics, tee/coffee/rusks, bykosse, braaiwood etc.

There is no cut-off date ito Bash attendance and payment. Can do it at the Bash as well but would prefer all attendees paid up by 10 September. It just eases admin on our side ito of number and catering requirements.
Bar charges beers at around R12 each and hard liquor about R10 a tot. Cooldrinks are R10 and shooters R12.

WARNING
The best road at the moment to come in to Wartrail is the DR03214 2km outside of Barkly East (attached red route - see first post Reedsdell Route.xls). The DR03214 turnoff at New England (47km from Lady Grey) is VERY ROUGH in dry weather & VERY MUDDY in wet weather. I’ll keep you posted as to the condition of the roads as we get closer to the event. There is NO CELLPHONE reception at Reedsdell – closest is 15km before Reedsdell.
Throttle Jockey has given warning about a nasty drift which has been packed full of rocks around a km after the police station (S30.75618 E28.36166) heading towards mt Fletcher from Naude's Nek which will be a nasty surprise at speed.
