Contrasting colours.
A pic taken into the Moonpool area of the last rig I worked on.
The colours of the Caribbean ocean 2200 meters deep with the red of the equipment hanging above it.
The little "pipe" on the right is what drills the first pilot hole in the earth. 2200 meters down, then a further 3600 meters in the earth. It's as simple as that... About 8 inches thick..
