Hey guys, well I am going to be part of the XR650L group in a couple of months. Just need to save some cash first :deal:
I had a 600R, so the transition was logical to me.
Anyway, to my question... What is the fastest you have gone on the XR650L? The reason for me asking this is because my 600 used to do 130KPH max and would struggle to sit at 120. I need to use the bike for commuting to work every day and it involves 40 KM of highways.... I really hate sitting at 120 without the oomph to go past anything... I mean if it can do 140 i'd be happy. Also, the stats are very conflicting, the one site says 177KPH max, the other says 130???? Honda's booklet says the bike can " Easily sit at 160 KPH " which I think is just propaganda...
Would love some XR rider inputs... Also, the DR650 any better at cruising speed?
