Yeah its irritating because it's right on the highway cruising speed 120-140kmh. I was wondering if changing the sprocket size would help with making cruising more comfortable Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk

Think I'll do that Johan.. If you knock of R1560 for the gasket set + the labour for valve clearance then the cost is a bit easier to stomach. I've checked a few other places and they didn't included the valve clearance check on 40000km service. Would servicing elsewhere void your warranty...

Hi.. thought I'd revive this thread since my query is with regards to servicing costs on an 800GS. I0 So I've just completed my first year of motorcycle ownership, clocked about 8000km and there's been much too learn, most recent of which is service costs. My bike is now due a 40,000km service...

I found a similar experience with my 2018 800GSA. Smooth below 5000rpm but vibey between say 5000-6500rpm. This is my first bike, I heard the 800's are vibey by nature and thought this might be normal? Sent from my SM-N986B using Tapatalk
