I've got a 2006 F650GS with 34 000km on the clock.  Bought a second 2004 F650GS with 91 000km on the clock.  The one will eventually be for the wife.  Riding these two together led me to the conclusion that they are of very high build quality.  Except for a view cosmetic blemishes and scratches...

Think I will buy another GS and swap the parts out.  Then I can sell the other one on again for a lady or shorter person.

You say that if it was lowered by reducing travel you most likely did it and it is reversible?  I don't know what to do to fix this height issue.  Would like to take it to someone that knows these bikes and can put me in the right direction.
