Hi Giraffe. I did it myself, not that difficult,just had a friend weld the end piece under the black cover back together. Makes a nice difference in sound ! I had a look at YouTube . There is a video (  KTM 1190 Adventure exhaust mod ) it explains in detail everything . I dont know how to upload...

The Dealer fitted the new neck bearings.They had them in stock.(www.allballsracing.com) was the make if i remember correctly,they just supply bearing kits for bikes i think. I will try find out what make they were. The Dealer was in Cape Town.

Hi Roadhawg, i had the same problem some time ago. My 1190 had 8000 km's on, also still under warranty. Dealer also said that the neck bearings are not covered under warranty. They replaced them with aftermarket bearings .Now on 23 000 km's and still fine.

Bad Dog from the the West Coast is also joining for the festivities at Gatsrivier !  Cant wait  :ricky:

I am also going to gut my 2013 1190 adv this week. Been to quiet to long !
