I bought an XR650R recently. Condition all round is good except for the exhaust slipon/cannister which is a degutted and shortened standard can. Looks terrible and I’m not too fond of the sound either. Anybody that could assist with either a standard can or an aftermarket one? Pretoria

I use Vivanté in Pretoria for this (3 times) they have a shop inside Honda Menlyn now. Charged me around R300 for a new zip for my BMW jacket in March.

Thanks Zebra I'm looking at keeping the original seat though. Would like have the comfort seat as an extra and only use on longer rides, std seat for dirt stuff.

Sorry Rosiemeposie, my apologies! I've been out of the office for the last two days and haven't had time to look at the forum! I bhonestly believe you should consider Leo's offer rather. The headers I have is meant for the exhaust with the ehaust valve, I do not believe it would fit your older...
