Last week fitted a set of Mittas E07 on the bike. Looks cool but dissapointed with two things: 1. The front tyre developed a high picth voice and is singing / shouting at me from 70km/h onwards - very anoying.  2. Strong vibes from the noblies after 130km/h.... Miss my AnerkeeII's allot...

I have the following two Metzler Karoo2 tyres for sale: 1x  150x70x17 and 1x 110x80x19 Got the tyres as part of the "deal" when I purchased my GSA but is unlikely to use the tyres as I do mostly city driving. The tyres is brand new and has not been fitted before. Make me an offer. Thanks

Was indeed the o-ring on the tensioner plug. quick fix. i was lucky and the problem did not cause any serious damage. Hopefully the problem is now sorted. :-\

Hi everyone, My 2010 GSA last week suddenly developed a serious oil leak. Leaking engine oil on the lefthand side cylinder onto exhaust. In about 30km lost more than half the oil. Was worried but luckily BMW Bavaria was very helpfull. Was told not serious problem and is probably the o-ring seal...

Hi, had some real bad luck with my first GSA after only two months. Noisy gearbox and bad vibration turn out to be a big problem. Bike was covered by "dealer warranty" but after their second attempt to try and repair the bike the dealer thought it is better if I part with my beloved red bike. So...

Yes, Most part shops and Midas sell the Nightbraker - dunno about X-Racer. Midas had best price.

On the GS I found that the main and the dip beam both use the same size globe (H7). So both is now nighbreaker and can see much better in the dark. Apparently the nightbraker plus will have a 50% longer lifespan. Will see how long they last in the bike.

Hi Everyone, I fitted a set of Osram nightbrakers (H7) to the bike and it has made a big difference. Bike has now nice white light and the distance has improved. No changes required on the bike - plug and play  ;D I have heard that the Nightbraker plus will be released in a months time...

Hi I have noticed my tank level goes very quickly from half to empty and sometimes the tank low warning comes on while there is still plenty of fuel. My BMW dealer tells my it is a common problem on the 1200GS and they can repair by cleaning and calibrating the tank strip? ??? Anyone else had...
