While we debate this there are riders grabbing up all the adventure. There is only so much of it to go around.

I have used an Airhawk seat for several years and am pleased with it. The right air pressure is simple once you know the trick. Open the valve while sitting. Stand up allowing it to inflate on it's own. Count to te slowly. Close and ride. If you feel like you are floating it is over inflated...
Is it wrong for others to aspire to the adventuring greatness in which we have already achieved?
It is nice to have others looking up to you in ways other than when we are on step ladders.
I have never found a bike that is adventure ready right out of the box.
Well it is only 5 days till i touch south african soil again.. hunting for three days starting at Rhino lodge in Mpumulanga then off to beestport farm ..

Will be hitting the tarmac on june 27 and hunting a few days then riding.... would verymuch like to see some of batswana and maybe namibia... I am leaning twards the F800gs ... any one here have ideas on a 10 day trip looping back to Pretoria? and anyone want to go?

Come one come all! The mountains of Virginia, West Virginia and the Carolinas are a beautiful ride 3/4ths of the year, more especially the late spring to early fall (mid april through end Oct.).
I am willing to host a few riders at a time.. Back and fire roads abound for a few hundred miles...
