Thanks for the advice, should recieve a new radiator cap within the next few days and problem hopefully sorted.

I have a mate of mine who is a bit technically challenged that has a BMW F650GS Dakar 04. The waterpump, thermostat packed up on the bike which I then replaced for him aswell as a new radiator and thermostat (found a tiny leak on the radiator). It now has a new problem where it blowns out...

Dammit, you are in the Western Cape. Looking for a nice bike to use on the farm.

I'm a big Yamaha fan and I must say that I'm a bit dissapointed. It looks fat and can't imagine it with a pair of knobblies. They should have rather called it the Super TDM than throw away the Tenere name.

I think it's probably an overkill.
