I bought a cheap topbox as well (jonway, I think) and put it on my KLR.  Doesn't look bad and it holds.  Have been through a few bundu bashes and it has not cracked or fallen off.  It actually has a nice base-plate. It beats the one I saw at our local Suzuki-dealer by about R1000.  It's lockable...
