I recommend a push bike for that kinda price :pot: :pot: (a push bike can do 160 down a mineshaft with a wind like the southeaster from behind) or one with 2 paddles  :peepwall:

Ok we did 3530 Km on the flower trip so the Anakee 2 have approx 12500 Km and there is still 2,75 mm left. So this trip took 2 mm. I am planning to go to Pontdrift in 2 weeks time and i belief the tyre will make that trip as well, I will keep you posted. O ja this trip was 2 up with panniers etc.

Whit the screws that secure the screen fastened properly (specially the bottom two) it does not vibrate at all.

BMW does have a bracket and its price is R519-00 Incl of VAT. the part number is 71 60 200 I will try and publish pics. I have it on for a few trips and it work brilliantly.  On the booklet that you get with it (thick as a bible) it states order number 01 29 7 683 115 Hope it help.

I have fitted the Anakee 2 's about 9000 km ago and I bought a combo special the other day from Suzuki Toy Store for R1800-00. I compared the thread and it was as follow. The new back tyre is 9mm in the middle and my 9000 km one still have 4,75 mm left. The front has worn off only 1mm in 9000...

I would recommend that you go to a place like COSMO Welding in Pretoria street in Silverton Pretoria and speak to the people, they will gladly show you a few tricks of the trade and give you excellent advice for what to buy and what not to buy. Welding courses are available at the old Centurion...
