The bracket to which the screen attaches on my R1200GS has cracked on both sides. I am looking for a second hand bracket (long shot, I know) or anybody knows where I can find one? I'll give BMW a call today but will probably have to sacrifice a kidney... I include some pictures, the blue arrows...

Would it fit a 2009 R1200GS or does it have a different rim size to the GSA?

This is not an uncommon problem, a search on Google will show numerous reports of this problem specifically on advrider and ukgser. Unfortunately I only saw this after buying the helmet. Currently the solutions vary between glueing "ice cream sticks" to the peak or putting some fibreglass below...
