I ride with Leatt Z frames, after a couple of minutes on the bike, they just disappear, and I don't know they are there. They have saved me before, so happy to rather wear them, than not.
awesome adventure, but from a practical side for immigration, your going to be stuck with a right hand drive then in EU. Just for that reason, I am not sure, I would do it.
A bunch of us that live and ride together in the Netherlands, have been planning a trip to Spain for quite a while now. Some pics and vids from the trip. Europe, contrarily to popular believe have some amazing adventure riding, you just need to go to the right countries. Spain is one of them...
She struggles to pick up the 300 at times, there is no way she will get the T7 up, it falls too flat, and is too heavy. I think she should pick a Husky 701 with a rally tower.
Something like this.
Similar weights to the Honda, loads more power, better suspension. Maintenance however might be...
From Folkstone this is a fun loop. It's easier to from Folkstone do the bottom section first and loop back on the top section, due to the chalk sections on the east side outside folkstone.
Couple of photos from a ride I did on this loop with my 890r
Not sure I agree that the 990 is not a good bike for the UK. The UK have some amazing byways to ride, and there is loads of them, you just need to know where to look. Join the trail riding fellowship (TRF - The Trail Riders Fellowship - Conserving Green Roads). Then really depends what section...
Did the KTM rally in France last year, was loads of fun, especially having the saffers on stage (Riaan and Joey) in France. Hoping to do the Norway version this year. SA one must be loads of fun, maybe next year.
I have tried the rottweiler mirrors and the double takes. I love the double takes. I have dropped my 890advr countless times now, a couple of them pretty hard, and the mirrors took the impact and just bends away. Then being able to adjust them to be almost in any position, is awesome, I cannot...
From adventure spec themselves (I live in NL), in my opinion they make some awesome gear, and, looking at the quality, safety ratings, and features, dare I say, I think they are a better buy than Klim.
It's been over 10 years since, I have ridden in SA (immigrated to the Netherlands). Planning a holiday back next year, and I am keen to do a ride or two. Where can I hire a bike, google does not bring up that much. I currently ride a ktm 890 adv r, so my preference is for that or similar. Is de...
I ride with a adventure spec supershirt summer and winter
https://www.adventurespec.com/shop/supershirt-765?category=1#attr=922
love it, it's AA rated for impact *and* abrasion on the tar. So in the summer, I wear it with just a mx jersey over it, and in the winter I wear my revit jacket...
